What you will do
- Write clean, well-documented C++ code following project standards.
- Review, optimize, and adapt code in collaboration with the Lead Systems Engineer.
- Design and deliver key technical features by collaborating across various departments.
- Build scalable, data-driven architectures within the engine infrastructure.
- Profile and optimize systems to ensure performance targets are met.
- Maintain high-quality output from broad system design to individual functions.
Requirements
- Experience in game development across all stages from design to shipping.
- Proven experience working on shipped AAA titles.
- Strong C++ skills, including sound knowledge of multithreading and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with game engine architecture across multiple engines.
- Proficient problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in additional coding languages.
- Understanding of hardware architecture.
- Knowledge of build systems.
