What you will do

• Write clean, well-documented C++ code in line with project standards.
• Build scalable, data-driven architectures within the engine infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough technical assessments of engine and game systems.
• Collaborate across departments to design and deliver key engine features.
• Profile and resolve performance issues across CPU, GPU, and memory.
• Ensure maintainable output from broad system design down to individual functions.

Requirements

• Experience in game development through all stages from design to shipping.
• Strong knowledge of optimization and porting processes.
• Deep understanding of hardware across different platforms.
• Strong C++ skills, including multithreading, software design patterns, and systems architecture.
• Familiarity with game engine architecture, including proprietary engines.
• Must be based in the UK with the Right to Work; no visa sponsorship or relocation provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional coding languages.
