Content Operations Analyst

Location: Fully remote within the Philippines; rotating shifts include evenings and weekends depending on live events.

Compensation: Up to $12,000 USD per year on a full-time contractor contract.

What you will do

• Run content operations and support workflows during live sports events and other high-volume publishing periods.
• Quality-check sports story cards for names, scores, images, logos, standings, links, statistics, metadata, timing, categorization, calls to action, and visual consistency.
• Triage content, configuration, workflow, and likely product issues by gathering evidence, reproducing problems, and identifying next actions.
• Document application and workflow issues with expected and actual behavior, affected clients or products, severity, screenshots, links, and reproduction steps.
• Maintain handovers, incident notes, support updates, QA records, and follow-up actions across time zones.
• Use AI and internal tools to improve checking, investigation, repeatability, checklists, playbooks, workflows, and lightweight automations.

Requirements

• Experience or strong instincts in application support, product support, content operations, QA, live operations, or support operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail when checking text, visuals, links, timing, structured information, and issue evidence.
• Clear written English and the ability to explain issues calmly and precisely.
• Strong judgment under pressure, including prioritization, escalation, and follow-through.
• Curiosity about systems, first-principles troubleshooting, and comfort handling ambiguous issues.
• Reliability during live coverage, client support, and content accuracy work.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical support, customer support operations, content QA, live operations, editorial, proofreading, moderation, or digital publishing.
• Exposure to SaaS, sports, media production, CMS tools, publishing workflows, mobile or web applications, or client-facing support.
• Experience with Jira, Zendesk, Intercom, Linear, CMS platforms, spreadsheets, dashboards, browser developer tools, SQL, APIs, or log and search tools.
• Examples of improving checklists, workflows, support processes, QA processes, runbooks, templates, or lightweight automations.
