What you will do

• Design complex data collections with human participants, including authoring instructions and implementing quality targets.
• Create synthetic and model-based datasets using state-of-the-art generation methods.
• Build tool prototypes for data analysis and creation using Python or other scripting languages.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to extract insights and bootstrap new AI functionalities.
• Collaborate with scientists and software engineers to evaluate and improve AI model performance.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computational Linguistics or a related field with computational analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in computational linguistics, language data processing, or AI data creation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python.
• Experience with language data annotation systems and multimodal data (speech, text) in multiple languages.
• Must be based in or have valid work authorization for Den Haag, Netherlands.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computational Linguistics.
• Experience in data creation for complex agentic workflows.
• Practical experience with Machine Learning.
• Knowledge of SQL, R, Matlab, and technical concepts such as APIs.
• Experience with version control and agile development.
