Calibration Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain software for calibrating Mobile Mapping Systems (MMS).
• Manage the full life-cycle of the calibration process from ideation to production roll-out.
• Collaborate with production and hardware teams to resolve calibration tool and process issues.
• Create and improve technical documentation for calibration procedures.
• Monitor and enhance overall data quality through refined calibration workflows.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sensor calibration (specifically cameras, LIDARs, and IMUs).
• Professional proficiency in C++ and good coding skills in Python.
• Experience with C++ libraries such as Boost, Eigen, and OpenCV.
• Proficiency in Linux and command-line tools.
• Expertise in modeling and solving hard optimization problems regarding 2D/3D geometry.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ceres, ROS, or PCL.
