Location: Must be based in or able to work from Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Build, improve, and maintain the core data platform infrastructure.
- Develop and operate both batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Collaborate with domain teams to evolve data serving pipelines using a Data Mesh approach.
- Enable analytics engineers and data scientists to build self-service data products.
- Improve platform reliability, governance, observability, and overall performance.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and define the long-term direction of the platform.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Data Engineering with production systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in modern data platform architectures and Data Mesh principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for pipeline development.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kafka and streaming architectures.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Dagster and transformation tools like dbt.
- Experience working in Kubernetes environments.
