Salary: AUD 80,000–120,000 + Super

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Assist in the development of AI-powered chatbots and workflow automation solutions.
• Optimize application performance, database efficiency, and overall scalability.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience developing web applications with Python and Django.
• Strong experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) and ORM optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP (AWS or Azure also considered).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git version control.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and deployment automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, or intelligent workflow solutions.
• Interest in property technology (PropTech) or fintech products.
• Experience working within data-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with GitOps and modern deployment practices.
