What you will do

• Manage data engineers with regular feedback, career guidance, and technical mentorship.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and prioritize daily execution using sprint methodologies.
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for massive datasets.
• Oversee multiple development and production environments to ensure seamless deployment and high availability.
• Research, develop, and integrate AI models and autonomous agents to automate pipeline monitoring and optimize data curation.
• Design and implement cost-efficient cloud data infrastructure and continuously monitor and optimize resource utilization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with massive datasets using PySpark, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience working with AWS (or another major cloud provider).
• Experience with LLMs, AI frameworks, or vector databases for automated, agentic data workflows.
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating data workloads.
