What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Drive technical vision in alignment with product goals, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
• Support career growth of engineers through regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Identify and implement process changes to increase team efficiency and operational excellence.
• Proactively manage technical debt by allocating resources to refactor and optimize systems for stability.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide input on best practices for software design strategies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a hands-on software engineer with solid technical expertise.
• Proven track record in managing and scaling engineering teams within a product-driven environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, support, and mentor team members in a transparent manner.
• Effective time management and ability to distribute workload efficiently.
• Must be based in London or Germany.
