Software Engineer II (React)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible under company policies; the role is subject to the company's hybrid working policy.

Salary: $182,481–$245,500 per year, plus potential bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality, production-ready applications and services.
• Build scalable, modular client-side applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Optimize frontend performance with lazy loading, caching, responsive CSS, and WCAG-compliant accessibility.
• Integrate frontend components with middleware and backend services using GraphQL.
• Develop Node.js backend components, server logic, APIs, and middleware integrations.
• Use Docker to build, deploy, and manage containerized applications in development and integration environments.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least two years of experience developing client-side applications with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Experience with Git, pull request creation and review, and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of Agile practices, technical requirements refinement, and implementation feasibility assessment.
• Experience writing maintainable, testable JavaScript and responsive CSS for web and mobile platforms.
• Experience with GraphQL, Node.js, and Docker.
