What you will do

• Design and deploy agentic solutions using LLMs for content classification and multi-step investigation.
• Build production-grade systems that handle high-volume event streams reliably.
• Operate scalable ML systems on cloud platforms like Azure AI Foundry.
• Evaluate and improve models using offline metrics, tool-use loops, and LLM-as-judge techniques.
• Identify product vulnerabilities that lead to abuse and consult with product teams on new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ontario, Canada
• 4+ years of experience in machine learning or a related field (or equivalent degree/experience combination).
• Strong understanding of large language models and hands-on experience applying them at scale.
• Solid software engineering skills and experience building with AI coding assistants.
• Experience designing or evaluating agentic systems and classification/detection systems.
• Understanding of trust and safety issues, including fraud, spam, and malware.

Nice to have

• Experience in responsible AI and Safety-by-Design.
• Background in managing user data and privacy.
• Experience with anomaly detection and handling imbalanced data.
