What you will do

• Design and implement core backend services and data pipelines for the Matching team.
• Conduct data-driven research leveraging big data and data science toolsets.
• Develop scalable systems and microservice architectures that power the AI engine.
• Ensure system reliability through robust alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Provide comprehensive test coverage using TDD, unit, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver new features based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 5+ years of professional experience with backend systems in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or ML.
• 2+ years of proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with large-scale data processing using Spark.
• Strong understanding of SOA, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI development tools, specifically agentic AI.
• Experience developing systems based on Large Language Models (LLMs).
