Solution Architect (OCTO Data)

What you will do

• Analyze customer data environments with SQL to identify gaps, anomalies, and opportunities to improve platform accuracy and coverage.
• Translate field findings into inputs for model tuning, product improvements, and R&D priorities.
• Design and build internal tools and automation that scale customer value delivery.
• Work with field teams to tune and configure the platform for each customer’s data landscape.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and best-practice frameworks.
• Partner with R&D and Research to align platform capabilities with customer requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets, including data analysis, manipulation, and deriving actionable conclusions.
• B.A. or B.S. in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related analytical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including querying and optimizing structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to diagnose and solve ambiguous, multi-layered technical problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud-native data architectures.
• Experience in fast-paced startups or high-growth companies.
• Familiarity with modern data architectures, cloud-native security tools, or data privacy frameworks.
