TL;DR
Senior Frontend Architect (React/TypeScript): Designing and scaling data-dense frontend platforms for real-time scanning electron microscope systems with an accent on rendering performance, state management, and micro-frontend architecture. Focus on building shared frameworks, optimizing continuously updating visual interfaces, and establishing architectural governance across teams.
Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role

What you will do
- Own end-to-end frontend architecture for SEM client applications, shared UI infrastructure, rendering, and real-time data flows.
- Design and evolve large-scale frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Build a platform or framework from scratch and drive adoption across teams.
- Architect a micro-frontend ecosystem with Module Federation, including boundaries, shared dependencies, versioning, and independent deployment.
- Design performant data-dense UIs with canvas/WebGL or image rendering, large grids, visualization, and WebSocket/SSE data flows.
- Establish architectural governance, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor engineers and architects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership for web clients.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, Redux, frontend rendering behavior, and performance at scale.
- Proven experience designing large and complex frontend architectures and managing application state at scale.
- Production experience with micro-frontends and Module Federation, including dependency sharing, versioning, and independent deployment.
- Experience designing platforms or frameworks from scratch and driving adoption across teams without direct management authority.
- Experience with continuously updating, data-dense interfaces, browser-based real-time transports, frontend profiling, performance measurement, and optimization.
