What you will do

• Develop and deploy data pipelines, integrations, and transformations for analytics and AI solutions.
• Partner with clinical stakeholders and AI/ML experts to retrieve and transform data for foundation models.
• Provide technical leadership in architecting scalable, cost-efficient data solutions and storage strategies.
• Ensure secure and compliant access to healthcare data assets across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Conduct exploratory analysis and optimize data movement for structured and unstructured clinical data.
• Maintain and evolve the organization's data solutions, tools, and coding standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• No visa sponsorship or transfer available (including F1 OPT STEM)
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years or Associate's degree with 9+ years of professional experience in data engineering or analytical modeling.
• Advanced experience in SQL and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with hybrid data processing methods including Spark, Hive, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of workflow scheduling, Infrastructure as Code (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant analytical or quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and OMOP.
• Experience with cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements including HIPAA.
• Experience with data virtualization tools like Denodo.
