TL;DR
Brand & Creative Designer (Brand Systems/AI-assisted Creative): Own Tulip’s visual brand system and campaign creative across every channel, with an accent on building and maintaining a living design system under pressure and extending it purposefully. Focus on AI-assisted design workflows, integrated campaign execution, and producing high-quality motion/video creative for flagship events.
Location: Somerville, MA. Hybrid work environment; in the office 3+ days/week.
Salary: $115,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do
- Own Tulip’s visual brand system: guidelines, design tokens, component libraries, and templates used across teams and surfaces.
- Build and maintain the marketing design system (reusable components, slide/email templates, event booth kits) to scale output.
- Lead integrated campaign creative end-to-end from briefs through launch across paid, organic, email, and events.
- Partner with Content, Digital Marketing, and external agencies to keep creative consistent across channels and formats.
- Build AI-assisted design workflows and tools for the creative function, including prompt systems and documentation automation.
- Produce video and motion creative when needed (or provide creative direction to external production).
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of visual design experience with a portfolio covering brand identity systems, campaign creative, and digital assets (ideally B2B SaaS/technical category).
- Deep proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite; ability to build and maintain a component-based design system.
- Proven ownership of campaign creative end-to-end across paid, organic, email, and event asset suites.
- Strong video and motion skills as a secondary capability (concepting/producing short-form social, animated assets, event reels) or strong creative direction experience.
- Demonstrated systems thinking: documented frameworks and the ability to get others to use them.
- Track record using AI in the design workflow (e.g., image generation, layout assist, documentation/prompt engineering) with clear understanding of where human judgment is irreplaceable.
