What you will do

• Design, simulate, implement, and test internally developed software-defined radio hardware.
• Bring up and debug hardware in the lab using high-end instrumentation.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Integrate systems into spacecraft through close collaboration with the engineering team.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual (as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test PCBA hardware from scratch.
• Solid foundation in analog, digital, mixed-signal, or RF design.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with software-defined radios.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
• Experience with analysis tools like ADS, ANSYS, or Matlab.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Experience with soldering, rework, and lab bench equipment.
