Senior AI Engineer (Platform Engineering)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for business and engineering challenges.
• Develop production AI applications using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, embeddings, tool calling, and orchestration patterns.
• Improve retrieval quality and response accuracy through chunking, metadata enrichment, hybrid search, reranking, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Integrate AI solutions with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Datadog, Slack, Kubernetes, and internal APIs.
• Build reusable connectors, tools, and agent capabilities for cross-platform information retrieval and actions.
• Establish testing, evaluation, observability, security, and governance practices while monitoring production performance, reliability, latency, accuracy, and cost.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications with LangGraph, Strands Agents, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Go, and/or Python.
• Experience designing microservice applications and integrating APIs with enterprise systems.
• Production experience building AI applications with LLMs.
• Strong understanding of RAG, vector databases, embeddings, tool calling, structured outputs, context engineering, agent orchestration, AI evaluation, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI copilots, digital assistants, or autonomous agents.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Langfuse, Datadog LLM Observability, MCP servers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with GitHub, Jira, Slack, Datadog, Confluence, or similar enterprise platforms.
