Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

What you will do

• Build new customer experiences on advanced foundational AI systems.
• Develop and operate production-grade data processing systems.
• Run data implementations end-to-end and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on AI-focused initiatives.
• Partner with research, marketing, sales, and finance to inform products, growth strategy, and business decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on production-grade data processing systems.
• Strong command of Python and SQL.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam, Spark, or Flink.
• Experience designing large-scale data systems and transforming unstructured data into performant datasets.
• Experience working with relational databases and blob storage.
• Genuine interest in AI and comfort building solutions in emerging problem spaces.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BigQuery, Airflow, or dbt.
• Knowledge of Java or Golang.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
