What you will do

• Design and implement scalable ML/AI platforms and standardize GenAI workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, security, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact ML solutions.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for models and data workflows using infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy, monitor, and tune production models while establishing health and performance metrics.
• Prototype emerging ML Ops technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 1+ year in ML/AI or big data environments.
• Proficiency in Python and C# with production experience using Docker.
• Practical experience deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Prefect, Airflow) and Kubernetes/Helm.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot ML models in production.
• Must be based in or able to work from Illinois, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML-lifecycle frameworks like MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Exposure to model-optimization techniques (quantization, pruning) or distributed data frameworks (Spark, Kafka).
• Familiarity with deep-learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
