What you will do

• Design and build backend features using Java, Spring, and PostgreSQL.
• Lead technical design discussions, write RFCs, and manage trade-offs.
• Drive system improvements including monolith splitting and storage architecture refactoring.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and maintain system reliability.
• Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to prioritize and execute backend improvements.

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with Java, Spring, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Proficiency in database management with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools like AWS, Docker, and Helm.
• Ability to lead design discussions and manage technical debt systematically.
• Must be eligible to work in the Czech Republic and comply with global sanctions regulations.
