What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs under senior guidance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code for RESTful and event-driven systems.
• Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services using logs, metrics, and dashboards.
• Collaborate on system designs and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in Central Europe
• 1–2 years of experience in software development or strong project/internship background.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Java or another object-oriented language.
• Basic familiarity with REST APIs and backend frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud concepts, specifically AWS.
