TL;DR
Senior Application Developer (Java Spring Boot): Developing and maintaining B2B IT applications for Voice & Partner Products Provisioning with an accent on microservices architecture and cloud integration. Focus on decomposing monoliths into microservices, designing REST APIs, and implementing automated testing in a DevOps environment.
Location: Remote from Slovakia (Hybrid: in-person meetings in Košice every two weeks and PI planning every 3-4 months)

What you will do
- Analyze customer requirements and propose application architecture, including REST API OAS and database structures.
- Develop backend microservices using Java Spring Boot and other Java frameworks.
- Modernize and refactor existing applications, decomposing monoliths into microservices.
- Implement automated tests across various levels to ensure code quality and prevent bugs.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to prepare GitLab CI/CD pipelines and handle cloud deployments.
- Mentor junior and medior developers to foster technical growth within the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with complex application landscapes.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java Spring Boot.
- Experience with MapStruct, Lombok, Liquibase, Open API generator, and WireMock.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, FireStore).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Open Telekom Cloud.
- English: B2 (Upper intermediate) required
- Location: Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.
