What you will do

• Lead and execute long-term agreements using formal RFx methodologies.
• Analyze spend data and industry dynamics to prioritize and launch sourcing initiatives.
• Lead negotiations for financial and business terms, including risk mitigation for strategic contracts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, budgets, and project challenges.
• Drive supplier segmentation, scorecards, and strategic business reviews.
• Provide subject matter expertise on procurement strategies and complex purchasing issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Washington
• Full understanding of procurement best practices and strategic sourcing.
• Proven experience in contract negotiations, specifically for IT services, software, and SaaS.
• Ability to manage complex strategic sourcing projects and RFx processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to Director and VP levels.
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities.
