What you will do

• Lead the architectural vision, design, and implementation of complex frontend systems for a high-scale SaaS platform.
• Develop modular, resilient, and efficient frontend and backend services within a distributed system context.
• Optimize application performance, including latency, memory usage, and build speed using advanced profiling techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and SREs, to deliver world-class user experiences.
• Design and implement solutions for real-time collaborative document editing, addressing concurrency and distributed state management.
• Mentor team members, conduct rigorous code reviews, and contribute to technical roadmaps and architectural documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 6-15+ years of experience in designing and building complex frontend software applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and ECMAScript.
• Strong experience with React or other modern SPA development frameworks.
• Deep understanding of browser APIs, asynchronous operations, and concurrency patterns.
• Experience with performance and memory profiling, including binary or byte-level optimization techniques.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js and backend service development (Java Spring Boot or C# .NET).
• Knowledge of V8 engine internals and advanced networking protocols (gRPC, WebSockets).
• Experience with micro-frontends, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Background in algorithmic design, combinatorial optimization, or distributed systems.
