TL;DR
Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js): Building and optimizing high-performance web applications for insurance checkout, payment, and renewal systems with an accent on conversion optimization and transactional flow. What you will do
- Develop modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript for checkout and renewal systems.
- Build customer-facing payment flows and responsive interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and payment services.
- Optimize performance and conversion rates across various devices.
- Implement multi-step transactional flows, including pricing and validation.
- Collaborate with Malaysia-based engineering, product, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience building production web applications as a Frontend Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and component-based architecture.
- Must be based in China.
Nice to have
- Experience building checkout systems, payment flows (Stripe, Adyen), or subscription products.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, or growth experimentation.
- Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js or Python.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Pinia).
