Accounting Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and implement the firm's chart of accounts in accordance with CNBV standards.
• Draft comprehensive accounting policies and procedures manuals.
• Configure the ERP system and integrate it with trading and custody platforms.
• Develop regulatory report templates and prepare opening balance sheets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the CNBV commencement-of-operations inspection.
• Manage monthly and annual financial statements and ensure tax compliance before SAT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience at a regulated financial institution, specifically a casa de bolsa or bank.
• Hands-on experience with CNBV regulatory reports and SITI submissions.
• Solid command of NIF and financial services tax filings (ISR, IVA, DIOT).
• English and Spanish proficiency (conversational level).
• Proven experience building or overhauling accounting systems and procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience in pre-operational or start-up phases of financial institutions.
• Familiarity with drafting regulatory manuals for CNBV.
• AMIB certification.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections.
