Senior ALS Lab Manager

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of lab data processing services and ensure timely, accurate completion of work.
• Develop and implement processing approaches for electronic files and related eDiscovery services under applicable ESI specifications.
• Review incoming productions, identify deficiencies, and provide case attorneys with detailed notices.
• Consult with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, clients, and opposing counsel on eDiscovery best practices and EDRM workflows.
• Manage eDiscovery professionals through scheduling, requirements assessment, work assignment, progress reporting, and quality control.
• Oversee webhosting support for cases managed by the lab and communicate deadlines, technical challenges, and resource availability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Relativity is required.
• At least eight years of experience in eDiscovery, including electronic file processing, file conversion, data culling, quality assurance, database loading and retrieval, and data analysis.
• At least five years of management or supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow.
• Working knowledge of document review tools such as iConect, Relativity, or Venio.
• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in computer science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Analytics Specialist certification.
• Experience with LAW, IPRO, Concordance, Microsoft Office Suite, or LiveNote.
