Production Transformation & Continuous Improvement Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Office located in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 CAD annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Partner with the Director of Operations to lead operational excellence and transform a high-tech design and production facility.
• Provide interim operational leadership for the production team, including workforce planning, scheduling, safety, quality, and production targets.
• Identify bottlenecks and waste, prioritize improvement opportunities, and apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Lead the transition from manual or fragmented processes to digital production systems, including work-order management and workflow automation.
• Develop project plans, lead cross-functional teams, track milestones, and report transformation outcomes to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, and external vendors to deliver improvement initiatives and drive adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations, including at least 5 years in electronics assembly.
• Proven experience in process improvement and structured production transformation.
• Strong project management experience; formal certification is an asset.
• Experience implementing digital systems in production environments.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies.
