Embedded SW Validation Engineer (C)

What you will do

• Design and implement test plans and cases for embedded software in the MCUXpresso SDK.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low-level drivers and middleware.
• Execute tests on real hardware and simulated environments to ensure robustness.
• Analyze results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Enhance test coverage and automation infrastructure using scripting.
• Validate software behavior across various MCU variants and boards.

Requirements

• Practical experience with embedded systems testing or software development in C.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architecture and HW analog/digital circuitry.
• Experience with hardware-dependent testing (GPIO, timers, DMA, communication peripherals).
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks or scripting, specifically Python.
• Experience with GIT or similar version control systems.
• Valid visa and work permit to work in the Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Experience with NXP products, MCUXpresso SDK, or BSPs.
• Knowledge of Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive or industrial standards like ASPICE and ISO 26262.
