What you will do

• Underwrite new business and renewals to ensure profitability for the Property book.
• Establish and grow the wholesale property business within the Southeast territory.
• Utilize underwriting tools to determine accurate classifications, rates, and premium charges.
• Manage and implement corrective measures for the existing renewal book.
• Build and maintain quality relationships with key producers and wholesalers.
• Provide coaching, training, and technical assistance to department underwriting staff.

Requirements

• 8+ years of complex Property underwriting expertise in the wholesale channel with surplus lines experience.
• Must have US Work Authorization (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Four-year college degree and/or CPCU or similar designation preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of coverage forms and policy language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
