Product Cybersecurity Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Drive cybersecurity development and engineering processes across software and hardware architectures.
• Perform TARA, interface risk assessments, and security concept reviews for vehicle systems and components.
• Translate identified threats and risks into technical cybersecurity requirements.
• Work with development teams to verify the implementation of cybersecurity mechanisms and controls.
• Support incident response, vulnerability handling, and post-development monitoring.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise across customer projects and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product cybersecurity, including cybersecurity or safety management processes.
• Hands-on experience with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms such as RSA, AES, SHA, CMAC, and GMAC.
• Experience with security risk management, compliance, policies, and standards in regulated environments.
• Fluent English required. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware and software security, HSM, SHE, secure boot, or secure updates.
• Cybersecurity training or certifications such as CSCAC.
• Exposure to RED 2022/53/EU or penetration testing.
