What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design, program, debug, and optimize firmware for new and existing microcontroller-based audio products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software solutions.
  • Drive innovation in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex firmware issues and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Interface with customers to gather requirements and provide technical support.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA with the ability to work in a hybrid model.
  • Extensive professional experience in firmware development and embedded systems.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities within engineering teams.
  • Strong proficiency with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
