Management Consultant (Business Analyst)

TL;DR

Management Consultant / Business Analyst (Business Analytics): Supporting clients through business, technology, and AI-enabled transformation with an accent on process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design. Location: Calgary, Canada. Must be based in Alberta, with potential requirements to work East Coast hours.

What you will do

• Partner with clients to define business objectives, assess current-state processes, and identify transformation opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, validate processes, and align stakeholders.
• Create and analyze business process maps (as-is/to-be) and identify gaps or dependencies.
• Document business rules, functional requirements, and process specifications.
• Support change management activities, including impact identification and training material creation.
• Participate in testing activities, including test planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or PM/Scrum Master on IT projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
• Must be based in Alberta and comfortable working in complex, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft technologies.
• Formal SCRUM or AGILE certifications.
• Business Analyst or Change Management certifications.
