What you will do

• Support the implementation of environmental strategies and standards across infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical environmental advice to management and project teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate trends.
• Assist in the development and delivery of environmental awareness training for staff.
• Liaise with legal teams and regulators to manage environmental obligations and certifications.
• Monitor environmental key performance indicators and communicate findings to central support teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with a valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across England and Wales.
• Practical on-site experience in environmental monitoring and management.
• Strong understanding of environmental law, governance, and management processes.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills for reporting and training.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data interpretation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity with regular site visits.
