A well-established civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure projects across the North of England for private developers, local authorities, and utility companies.

What you will do

• Plan and manage the delivery of multiple projects valued up to £10 million.
• Assume Principal Contractor responsibilities under CDM 2015 regulations.
• Lead HSQE implementation and conduct regular site safety inspections.
• Oversee commercial aspects including budget management and cost control.
• Provide line management and mentorship to Site Managers, Engineers, and Foremen.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role within the water industry.
• Valid SMSTS (CITB) and CSCS (Manager Level) certifications.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Proven experience with CDM 2015 regulations.

Nice to have

• APM PMQ or equivalent project management qualification.
• NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar planning tools.
