A well-established civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure projects across the North of England for private developers, local authorities, and utility companies.
What you will do
- Plan and manage the delivery of multiple projects valued up to £10 million.
- Assume Principal Contractor responsibilities under CDM 2015 regulations.
- Lead HSQE implementation and conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Oversee commercial aspects including budget management and cost control.
- Provide line management and mentorship to Site Managers, Engineers, and Foremen.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role within the water industry.
- Valid SMSTS (CITB) and CSCS (Manager Level) certifications.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Proven experience with CDM 2015 regulations.
Nice to have
- APM PMQ or equivalent project management qualification.
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
- Proficiency in MS Project or similar planning tools.
