Network Engineer (Solution Test)

What you will do

• Collaborate with development and sales teams to understand requirements and test expectations.
• Plan and build complex network topologies to emulate real-world customer environments.
• Configure hardware, traffic generators, and networking tools for exhaustive testing.
• Execute test plans focusing on performance, scale, and potential breakage areas.
• Troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and verify fixes with the development team.
• Communicate results and provide recommendations for design and performance improvements.

Requirements

• Masters degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, or computer networking.
• 3+ years of experience in a System or Solution test role handling complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, and eVPN.
• Proficiency with industry-standard CLI and SNMP interfaces for switch administration.
• Familiarity with Linux networking tools such as tcpdump, ip route, and iperf.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or TCL.
