What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain low-level CPU software for networking hardware.
• Develop automated validation tests using C, C++, and Python.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and vendors to qualify new CPUs and components.
• Track Linux Kernel developments and contribute features to upstream open-source BIOS communities.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues in customer networks and system test environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience depending on degree level.
• Expert knowledge of C programming is required.
• Proven experience in CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader development.
• Hands-on experience with CPU board bring-up and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with x86 and ARM CPU architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel architecture.
• Understanding of IP networking principles.
