What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture for a high-revenue web platform and mobile app.
• Design and maintain server-side rendering pipelines using Node.js, Fastify 5, and React 19.
• Manage data layers across MySQL and BigQuery to support large-scale operations.
• Oversee GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and Global Load Balancer.
• Optimize ML pipelines for ad-tech performance and ensure millisecond-level site speed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set technical direction and remove development bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or authorized to work in the US, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, or Romania.
• Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Expertise in React within a server-side rendering context.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL database design, query optimization, and ORM usage.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery and GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL).
• Ability to work in a full-time independent contractor or EOR capacity.

Nice to have

• Ad-tech industry experience including programmatic advertising and yield optimization.
• Experience with Cloudflare CDN and caching strategies.
• Proficiency in Flutter, Golang, or Rust.
• Background in DeFi, crypto, NFT, or healthcare verticals.
• GCP certification.
