Location: Must be based in Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: 3 days in office).
Salary: Starting from 18,000 PLN.

What you will do
- Modernize legacy services by analyzing codebases and extracting clean APIs using AI tools.
- Implement strangler fig patterns to migrate high-impact services with improved performance and reliability.
- Build AI-powered development infrastructure, including MCP servers and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop reusable AI tooling and workflows for broader engineering adoption.
- Demonstrate AI-first development by using LLMs for refactoring, testing, and debugging.
- Train and mentor teams on AI-enabled workflows during service handoffs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with Java backend expertise.
- Hands-on experience building with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI solutions.
- Proven track record of modernizing production systems at scale.
- Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, and legacy migration strategies.
- Demonstrated use of AI development tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in production.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Kraków, Poland.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted security scanning and automated test generation.
- Background in financial services or high-load trading platforms.
