Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Java/Selenium)

What you will do

• Design, develop, document, and maintain automation tools, test cases, and frameworks for current and next-generation software platforms.
• Plan, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans from product requirements and technical designs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on release planning, CI/CD environments, and test-driven development practices.
• Influence platform, application, and data model design to improve testability, quality, performance, and reliability.
• Lead technical execution within Agile Scrum teams, including effort estimation, documentation, communication, and delivery against milestones.
• Manage defects and support issue diagnosis, resolution, unit-test reviews, data analysis, and root-cause investigations.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related field, or 4–5 years of technical experience as an SDET or in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with an object-oriented programming language and hands-on experience developing in Java.
• Experience developing tests with Selenium libraries and designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling automation frameworks.
• Strong experience creating and implementing end-to-end test strategies across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile development, source control, code standards and reviews, building, and testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, proactive problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Linux.
• Experience with microservice architectures and backend API testing.
