What you will do

• Execute SEO and GEO strategy for TODAY.com and NBCNews.com content portfolios.
• Partner with editors to integrate SEO best practices into daily publishing workflows.
• Optimize on-page elements including headlines, metadata, and internal linking structures.
• Analyze performance trends and identify growth opportunities across traditional and AI-driven search surfaces.
• Collaborate with Digital Analytics to inform content decisions and prepare performance readouts.
• Mentor senior analysts and serve as a strategic partner to editorial stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SEO within a media or content-driven environment.
• Hands-on experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and technical SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Botify).
• Understanding of the connection between search performance and business outcomes.
• Must be able to work from the New York office at least four days per week.
• Interest in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven search impacts.
