What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Merchant Data Platform team.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to define technical requirements and trade-offs.
• Drive project definition, design, cross-functional alignment, and task delivery.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance through monitoring and on-call efforts.
• Mentor engineers to improve design quality, code standards, and testing practices.
• Contribute to team growth by participating in the interview and hiring process.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland
• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
• Proven track record of developing highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex business and technical requirements into elegant system designs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams.
