What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and big data pipelines for customer-facing insights.
• Implement near-real-time stream-based data processing in collaboration with batch workflows.
• Develop a query engine to answer complex, cross-deal questions for sales executives.
• Scale data processing pipelines to handle massive volumes of activity data while managing infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure high-quality monitoring, alerting, and tracing for all production services.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland
• 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in an enterprise environment.
• 2+ years of experience programming in Python or Scala.
• Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks like Spark, Hive, or Hadoop.
• Experience with stream processing technologies such as Kafka, Samza, or Storm.
• Strong analytical skills and experience improving legacy codebases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with LLMs or NLP.
• Familiarity with analytical databases and ETL pipeline design.
