What you will do

• Design, build, and test modifications for CVD reactor systems and supporting hardware.
• Support daily reactor operations, development testing, and manufacturing activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and thermal equipment issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Analyze test and production data to drive equipment and process improvements.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions, SOPs, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, building, or troubleshooting hardware.
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible status).
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work off-shift hours and weekends as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with vacuum systems, furnaces, or industrial thermal processing equipment.
• Background in Formula SAE, Baja SAE, collegiate rocketry, or robotics competitions.
• Experience with CAD design and mechanical fabrication.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and equipment reliability methodologies.
