What you will do

• Design and develop Python SDKs and RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS, utilizing Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, SQS/SNS, and RDS/DynamoDB.
• Collaborate with Product and Platform teams to define API contracts, data models, and integration patterns.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and API keys.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing backend services and SDKs.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure high quality through comprehensive testing and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Python Engineer.
• Proven experience building REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
• Experience designing and delivering SDKs or client libraries for developers.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Proficiency with pytest, Git, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Must be based in Ukraine
