Salary: £140,000 – £155,000 (UK-based candidates).

What you will do

• Lead government affairs and public policy activities across the UK and EU, setting strategy for each market.
• Build and maintain relationships with health ministries, parliamentarians, EU institutions, and industry coalitions.
• Develop advocacy strategies for telemedicine, weight loss care, pharmacy policy, and AI in healthcare.
• Monitor legislative and political developments, translating them into strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Manage external consultants, agencies, and trade-association memberships to maximize impact.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Regulatory, Clinical, and Communications to align policy work with company priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields within healthcare, pharma, or tech.
• Demonstrated experience working with European healthcare systems and EU institutions.
• Advanced degree in public policy, international relations, law, economics, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefing executives and regulators.
• Ability to navigate complex political cultures and regulatory traditions across multiple countries.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German, French, or Spanish.
• Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies for policy analysis and stakeholder intelligence.
• Familiarity with EU AI Act, European Health Data Space, or GLP-1 policy debates.
• Prior experience leading a region or operating as a sole practitioner.
