Salary: $165,000 - $244,000

What you will do
- Manage released product head performance from qualification through high-volume manufacturing and end-of-life.
- Define and execute continuation strategies aligned with the product roadmap to improve yield, quality, and cost.
- Act as the primary technical authority to validate recording head issues and guide response strategies.
- Lead cross-functional root cause investigations and corrective actions for high-impact product challenges.
- Partner with data analytics, design, and manufacturing teams to align on priorities and execution plans.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience (or 12 years with a Master's, or 8 years with a PhD).
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, storage, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and cross-functional programs.
- Strong technical background in wafer, slider, HGA, or drive integration.
- Proven ability to lead complex problem solving using data-driven approaches.
Nice to have
- Technical expertise in recording physics, specifically HAMR technology.
- Experience in product integration or performance analysis roles.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams.
