What you will do

• Aggregate and research geospatial data from public, open-source, and commercial sensor sources.
• Develop and maintain automated tools for cleaning, resizing, reformatting, and aligning geospatial datasets.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to supply diverse data for training new machine learning models.
• Partner with Pipeline and Product teams to ensure data availability for new regional rollouts.
• Design and architect software solutions for geospatial data processing and transformation.
• Contribute to the management of data coverage, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and software development.
• Experience with GIS modalities including orthoimagery, LiDAR, vector data, and raster data.
• Comfort working in a Linux/*nix shell environment.
• Ability to attend an in-person interview in the USA if required.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source GIS libraries such as PROJ and GDAL.
• Enthusiasm for automated development processes and systems.
• Experience working outside of ArcGIS-centric workflows.
