What you will do

• Deploy and migrate client environments following the Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks.
• Administer Azure SQL environments, including provisioning, scaling, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Manage complex backup and recovery strategies, including failover groups and geo-replication.
• Optimize query performance and manage workloads using Query Store and performance tuning.
• Secure Azure SQL environments using RBAC, Private Link, Azure Key Vault, and firewall configurations.
• Automate infrastructure and database deployments using ARM templates and Bicep.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in cloud, hosting, or MSP environments.
• Proficiency in Azure SQL Database administration and performance diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, storage, and orchestration.
• Azure certifications required within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Technical certifications in Windows, Office 365, Linux, VMware, Cisco, or Palo Alto.
